27th Annual Independence Day Picnic

While COVID-19 infections have lessened over the past two months in the DC area, we will still collect names and contact details for everyone attending this year’s Independence Day Picnic at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). This will allow us to conduct contact tracing should anyone display positive symptoms for COVID-19 after the event. We will use this information only if a person tests positive for COVID-19 after the Picnic or had contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

Because I do not want to put anyone at serious risk of catching the Coronavirus, I am asking that guests come only if they have received a COVID-19 vaccination (or at least the first shot if on the Pfizer or Moderna regimen). For those who have not received a vaccination, I hope you understand, appreciate and respect this request.

Guest Registration

In order for guests to enter Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), I must provide a guest list with the requested information below. For guests who do not have a military ID or Common Access Card (CAC) for access to JBAB, I need to submit their DOB, Passport or Driver’s license details.
